Feedback is generally seen in a negative light...
something to minimize or eliminate entirely
from musical performance and recording.
However we found it ironic that feedback
is a foundational element of many synthesis
techniques and chose to focus on these methods
for a collaborative project.
This type of exploration is not new.
We felt there was no need to focus on novelty
for its own sake. Still, the results were somewhat
unexpected and pursuing the possible range
of sounds within our preferred systems
(software / no input) was extremely educational for us.
